Welcome to the LaSalle Area Historical Society page!

The mission of the LaSalle Area Historical Society shall be to organize and operate the society as a sustainable non-profit entity by collecting, documenting, and properly preserving selected materials and intellectual property of local historic significance in order to increase awareness of the importance of the preservation of the history of LaSalle, Colorado, including the Beebe Draw and Big Bend School Districts and Peckham, Colorado, for present and future generations. 


Our organization was formed in March of 2014 and we are currently in the process of recruiting new members and collaborating with as many people from our area as possible. We have finished our application for 501c3 status so your donations are tax deductible! 

The calendar of events for 2019 is being scheduled.  Check back for updates to the list of scheduled meetings

A new project for 2019-2020 is the building of a Veteran's Memorial in LaSalle. Check back for updates and new information to come!! 


We are accepting membership applications for 2019. Please see our membership page for more information or email us at lasallehistorical@gmail.com to obtain a membership application.


Monthly meetings are held the second Monday night of every other month at the LaSalle Lions Club. List of scheduled meetings
